You will be serving in a variety of ways depending on the need .This may include partnering with local nursing homes, Kumler outreach, Daily Bread, St. John’s Breadline, Ronald McDonald House, a food drive, Sports Camp, Mary Bryant Home for the Blind, Contact Ministries, Inner City Mission, Washington St. Mission, Mercy Communities, InnerCity Mission and SPARC Camp Kaleidoscope.

Camp Departure and Arrival

Two camp sessions are being offered for 2019 – Campers arrive on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. and leave on Friday morning at 9 a.m.

Cost

This is our 12th year, and we want to keep the cost down to $100/camper.

A $50 deposit will hold your spot at the camp. Each camp session is limited to the first 50 campers who sign up. An adult leader/driver is required for each 5 campers. Another $50 will be due by the end of June. Besides food and lodging for a week, this fee includes a camp T-shirt.

A Typical Day

A typical day includes meal preparations, personal devotion time, work at various ministry sites, rest and free time, club time that includes worship, games and reflection on the day’s activities.

While you are here, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Abraham Lincoln. We are 2 miles from New Salem where Lincoln lived during his young adult life. We are also 25 miles from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum!
